Study Visit Fee

Staff from HUMANE Member Institutions and Residential School Alumni benefit from the members rate of €1,250. Non HUMANE Members will be charged €1,750. The fee includes catering within the programme (lunches on Thursday and Friday, dinners on Wednesday and Thursday plus coffee breaks). It does not include travel or accommodation.

Non HUMANE Members may attend if they meet the following criteria: they are from a higher education institution that delivers degree programmes in at least two of the three Bologna cycles (BA, MA, doctorate). Non-member applications are subject to review before acceptance. The Secretariat will apply the correct rate.

Meals and Social Programme Information

  • Lunches and coffee breaks will be taken at the times indicated in the main programme.
  • The Study Visit dinners included in the programme will be held in various venues. Details will be sent via email to registered participants.

Phishing and email scams

There is an increasing trend for seminars and events to be targeted by phishing and email scams. If you do receive any communication that looks suspicious please contact the HUMANE Secretariat. HUMANE never works with or promotes any third party travel companies in its seminar organisation.

How to reach Paris-Saclay

From Paris Orly Airport to Paris-Saclay University Campus CéntraleSupélec

By metro, RER and bus (around 30 minutes)

Take the automatic metro ORLYVAL until Antony.

Then take RER B in the direction of “Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse”.

Get off at “Massy-Palaiseau”.

Then take the bus express 91.10 or bus express 91.06 B or C and get off at Université Paris Saclay, Moulon or Joliot-Curie.

From Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris-Saclay University Campus CéntraleSupélec

By RER and bus (around an hour)

Take RER B in the direction of “Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse”.

Get off at “Massy-Palaiseau”.

Then take the bus express 91.10 or bus express 91.06 B or C and get off at Université Paris Saclay, Moulon or Joliot-Curie.

By train

Massy TGV train station

The closest train station to the University is the “Massy TGV train station”.

From there you can take RER B and get off at “Le Guichet”.

Then take bus number 9 to Joliot-Curie.

From Paris Gare du Nord

If you come from Paris, the Paris Gare du Nord train station has a direct acces to the RER B train. Take RER B and get off at “Le Guichet”.

Then take bus number 9 to Joliot-Curie.

Other train stations in Paris

Other train stations in Paris are very centrally located but you have to change to the metro or RER to reach the RER B.
